Peter Macrae Dillon | Franchise Lawyer
Peter is the only lawyer in Ontario outside of Toronto recognized in L'Expert, the leading legal peer review journal, as an expert in franchise and distribution law. Ranked in the top 100 franchise attorneys in North America by Franchise Times magazine.
Prior experience with litigation and insolvency law, with reported decisions in the Tax Court of Canada, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal, and the Ontario Superior Court (In Bankruptcy).
Appointments
Peter has received the following distinguished appointments:
- by the Deputy Securities Commissioner for the State of Maryland to Advisory Board of the Franchise and Business Opportunities Project Group of NASAA (the North American Securities Administrators Association) in Washington, D.C., as the only Canadian representative
- by the Government of Canada to the Committee of Governmental Experts of UNIDROIT (the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law) in Rome, in connection with the preparation by UNIDROIT of a Model Franchise Law recommended for adoption by all nations

Peter practices exclusively in the areas of franchise, licensing, distribution and trademarks. He specializes in the acquisition of franchise systems, exporting and importing franchise systems, and advising start-up franchisors in the conversion and early stages of franchising. He represents mature Canadian and American manufacturers and franchise systems operating in Canada, the United States, and internationally.

Jason Burgess | VP Corporate Finance Canada
As one of the first members of our board of advisor, Jason Burgess has been guiding the Just Junk leadership team since the inception of the company. Jason is the senior manager at Deloitte (Niagara) and oversees audits, consulting, tax specialization and financial advisory. Jason serves as a committee member for the St.Catharines Chamber of Commerce and is Chairman of Hospice Niagara.
Cal Goodman | Information Systems Engineer
Cal has worked as an information systems engineer holding equity positions in multiple start-up companies over the last 8 years in both Canada and the United States. Cal currently owns and manages a successful software development company. Cal is the chief architect and designer of our web based Junk Management Software.
Stephan Murdoch | Senior Public Relations Consultant
Stephen Murdoch, who holds a post-graduate public relations certificate from Niagara College, is a consultant with the St. Catharines firm. In his current role, Stephen oversees clients from several industry sectors.
Prior to assuming this position, Stephen served as communications manager for the Canadian Retail Hardware Association (CRHA). In this role, he was responsible for strategic, partnership marketing and communications and also provided public relations counsel for Canada's largest hardware/home improvement trade show. This communications role also saw him act as editor for the award-winning newsletter, the Communicator.
Before joining the CRHA, Stephen held a communications position with Humber College. While at Humber College, he was responsible for providing public relations counsel to the school's student government. It was here that Stephen gained extensive experience in crisis communications and issues management.
